Microsoft clearly, transparently and not surprisingly prioritizes AI in earnings call indicating CEO Satya Nadelle’s vision for the future of Microsoft. Mike Kaput of the Marketing AI Institute provides us a concise summary the earnings call and points out that “AI” is mentioned with a significant frequency throughout the call. Here’s the original post on Linkedin.
Mike’s summary:
- CEO Satya Nadella comes out swinging: “The age of AI is upon us, and Microsoft is powering it.”
- Microsoft is sitting pretty when it comes to AI adoption: “We have the most powerful AI supercomputing infrastructure in the cloud.”
- The partnership with OpenAI is key to winning the market: “We’re pleased to be their exclusive cloud provider and will deploy their models across our consumer and enterprise products as we continue to push the state of the art in AI.”
- Microsoft Power Platform is using AI to drive down costs: “We’re making it easier for anyone to streamline repetitive tasks, introducing new AI-powered features to turn natural language prompts into complex workflows.”
- Microsoft 365 is making a play for AI-powered office work: It’s “rapidly evolving into an AI-first platform that enables every individual to amplify their creativity and productivity.”
In a previous post I pointed out how quickly a multitude of business are reinvigorating their products and services with AI. Microsoft has done pretty well over the years, but that earnings call clearly highlights what they think AI will do for their products and the people that use them.

I have always been an early adopter. Ideas, concepts, technologies and methodologies, learning and testing these is a personal passion. This puts me in the unique position of usually having perspective, POV and experience with this newness before everyone else. I use this to both my and my consulting clients advantage. Let me show you.
