Everything has changed. Artificial Intelligence has already upended the paradigm of our world.
It’s easy to get caught up in the hype of the latest advancements in any technology, including Artificial Intelligence. It feels like overnight everyone started writing/tweeting/sharing perspective on AI, myself included. But what is the impact of this rapidly advancing technology? How is it changing (has already changed…) the ways we live, work and interact with others? What will this impact ultimately be? Buckle up.
The impact of Artificial Intelligence is already being felt across many industries, from healthcare and marketing to retail, finance and manufacturing. It’s all industries, really. AI technology is being used to automate processes, analyze data, and provide insights that were once impossible, and now it’s not just possible, it’s already iterating improvements in how to do just these things. AI is also enabling the development of new products and services, from creative asset generators, intelligent digital assistants, smarter homes, intelligent apps, to a myriad of automated, intelligent solutions. AI seemed to be coming about slowly and then all at once. It is astonishing how densely populated the landscape of AI platforms, tools and solutions has become in a relatively short period of time.
Machine Learning is one of the most important AI technologies, allowing computers to learn from data and learn from their own experiences parsing that data for insights. This technology can be used to create systems that can identify patterns and make predictions. For example, machine learning can be used in healthcare to identify diseases or in finance to predict market performance. It can be used to generate written content (like about 60% of this post) as well as images (like the one at the top).
Cognitive computing is making an impact as AI powered systems are used to simulate human thinking, such as natural language processing and automated reasoning. This technology is being used to create digital assistants and autonomous machines, as well as to develop knowledge graphs and text mining. Predictive analytics is increasingly possible as AI powered algorithms are used to analyze data and provide data driven insights, doing in seconds what manually would take hours or days.
AI technologies are being used to automate processes, analyze data, and provide insights that were once impossible. Machine learning and automation are being used to improve customer service, while cognitive computing and predictive analytics are providing data driven insights. As AI continues to advance, it will revolutionize industries and create new opportunities for businesses, as well as disrupt traditional ways of doing things. The potential of AI is limitless and exponential. The capabilities of this technology are only beginning to be explored. To capitalize on AI and stay ahead of the competition, it is essential to stay informed and to invest in the right AI technologies. We are.
2023 will be the year of artificial intelligence. It actually already is and we will look back on this year as when we collectively experienced a global paradigmatic shift.

I have always been an early adopter. Ideas, concepts, technologies and methodologies, learning and testing these is a personal passion. This puts me in the unique position of usually having perspective, POV and experience with this newness before everyone else. I use this to both my and my consulting clients advantage. Let me show you.
